Town of Rehobeth
As of June 8, 2016 the Town of Rehobeth will be enforcing the police jurisdiction (PJ) for all Business License and Building Permits. You will find a link below to a map that shows where our PJ is (inside red line). The cost of business license and building permits are half for the PJ (plumbing, electric, gas and HVAC are still $50.00). Please call the town hall if you have any questions at 334-671-5829.
Contractors:
In order to obtain a building permit you must present a current town of Rehobeth business license, a copy of your state of AL contractor’s license, a copy of your building plans, a copy of the deed, and a copy of the perk test. We will need the emergency 911 address and you will need to fill out a subcontractors list with addresses and phone numbers. You will find a link below with all the forms needed to apply for a building permit. It is MANDATORY that all new structures meet the requirements of the State of Alabama Energy Code, which became effective October 1, 2012. Electrical Permit:
In order to obtain an electrical permit you must present a current town of Rehobeth business license and a current state of Alabama electrical license. You will find a link below for the electrical permit application.
